Just saw that Floyd Mayweather is putting a huge amount of money into affordable housing in NYC. Apparently, he bought 60 buildings with over 1,000 rental units. I’m surprised he had that kind of money ready… maybe he’s got a partner helping out. Anyone else find this interesting?
Yeah, I heard about this too. It’s a massive investment for sure, and if he’s really doing it for affordable housing, that’s pretty cool.

Right? He probably has a partner like SL Green backing him up. He’s been involved in other projects with them.

Makes sense. $402 million is a lot, even for him. He’s gotta be using some kind of financing too.

I think it’s good to see celebrities investing in things that can actually help people. Affordable housing is a big issue.
Anyone else surprised by how many properties he already owns? I read he has more than two dozen mortgage-free places.

He posted about that on Instagram a while back. He’s really gone all in on real estate lately.
I wonder if he’s really invested in affordable housing or if it’s mostly a business move for him. Could be both, I guess.

Good point. He did say this one holds personal significance, but at the end of the day, it’s still business.
I’m just amazed he could pull together $400 million. That’s a huge amount even by celebrity standards.

Yeah, it’s wild. That’s why I think he’s using some major financing or a business partner. Makes it easier to manage.
