Hey, do you guys know which African country is considered the wealthiest? I’ve been curious about which one has the highest overall wealth or economic strength.

Nope, it’s actually not South Africa! Egypt and Nigeria have higher GDPs overall. When it comes to GDP per capita, countries like Seychelles, Mauritius, Botswana, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, and Gabon rank higher. South Africa is definitely up there in both categories, but it doesn’t top either list. I’m really impressed by Botswana, though. It’s one of those countries I tend to forget about, but they’re doing really well economically, and their flag is pretty cool too.
